Legal information

Last updated: June 2026. These terms apply to TribunalKit UK services for Employment Tribunal document preparation in England & Wales.

Important disclaimer

TribunalKit is not a law firm, solicitors' practice, or legal advice service.

  • TribunalKit provides document preparation tools for Employment Tribunal claims. It generates draft documents based on information you provide.
  • TribunalKit does not provide legal advice, recommend whether you should bring a claim, select which claims to pursue, assess the merits of your case, or represent you in any proceedings.
  • TribunalKit does not file documents with any court or tribunal on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing, completing, and submitting your own ET1 form via the HMCTS Employment Tribunal portal.
  • The documents generated by TribunalKit are drafts only. They may contain errors, omissions, or information that is not appropriate for your specific circumstances.
  • You should consider seeking independent legal advice from a qualified solicitor, Citizens Advice, your trade union, the Free Representation Unit (FRU), or another appropriate adviser before submitting any claim to the Employment Tribunal.
  • Use of TribunalKit does not create a solicitor-client relationship, retainer, or any other professional legal relationship.

Regulatory position

Document preparation is not a reserved legal activity under the Legal Services Act 2007. The six reserved legal activities are: the exercise of a right of audience, the conduct of litigation, reserved instrument activities, probate activities, notarial activities, and the administration of oaths.

TribunalKit does not perform any reserved legal activity. TribunalKit is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), the Bar Standards Board (BSB), or any other legal services regulator.

TribunalKit does not claim or imply that it is a solicitor, barrister, legal executive, or any other regulated legal professional.

Terms of service

1. Service description

TribunalKit provides an automated document preparation service for Employment Tribunal claims in England & Wales. The service generates draft particulars of claim, witness statements, schedules of loss, and related documents based on information you provide through a guided intake process.

2. Eligibility

You must be aged 18 or over to use TribunalKit. By using the service, you confirm that the information you provide is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge. You must have completed ACAS Early Conciliation (or have a valid exemption) before using TribunalKit to prepare an ET1 claim.

3. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for: the accuracy and completeness of all information you provide; reviewing and verifying all generated documents before use; deciding whether and how to use any generated document; submitting your own ET1 form to HMCTS; complying with all applicable time limits; seeking independent legal advice if needed.

4. Delivery and refunds

Standard delivery is within 5 business days. Rush delivery is within 24 hours. If TribunalKit fails to deliver within the stated timeframe, you will receive an automatic full refund.

Your document is digital content that is generated and supplied immediately after payment. Before checkout you expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you lose your 14‑day right to cancel once supply has begun. For that reason, all sales are final once your document has been delivered. We cannot guarantee the outcome of any tribunal claim, and no refund is available on the basis that your claim was unsuccessful. If your document is defective — for example, it does not reflect the answers you provided — contact us within 14 days and we will correct it or, where we cannot, refund you.

5. Limitation of liability

TribunalKit's total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific document in question. TribunalKit is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, or costs arising from unsuccessful tribunal claims.

6. Intellectual property

Documents generated by TribunalKit based on your input are yours to use as you see fit. The TribunalKit platform, templates, intake logic, and all underlying software remain the intellectual property of TribunalKit.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of TribunalKit shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

Data security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
