You must notify ACAS for Early Conciliation before submitting an ET1. This is mandatory. If you haven't done this, visit acas.org.uk or call 0300 123 11 00.
Most claims must be started within 3 months minus 1 day from the event. The clock pauses during ACAS conciliation (up to 12 weeks). From October 2026, the limit extends to 6 months.

Is TribunalKit a law firm?
No. TribunalKit is a document preparation tool, not a law firm or solicitors' practice. We do not provide legal advice, select claims for you, or file documents. Consider seeking advice from a solicitor, Citizens Advice, or your trade union.
Do I still need to fill in the ET1 form myself?
Yes. TribunalKit generates the particulars of claim (the detailed narrative for Section 8.2), but you submit the ET1 form yourself via the HMCTS online portal. The intake also collects information you'll need for other ET1 sections.
What about ACAS Early Conciliation?
You must complete ACAS Early Conciliation before submitting an ET1. This is mandatory. TribunalKit asks for your ACAS certificate number during intake. If you haven't contacted ACAS yet, do that first at acas.org.uk or 0300 123 11 00.
What is the time limit for my claim?
Most Employment Tribunal claims must be started within 3 months minus 1 day from the event (extending to 6 months from October 2026). The clock pauses during ACAS Early Conciliation. If you're close to the deadline, act now — late claims are rarely accepted.
Can I get my money back?
If TribunalKit fails to generate a draft within the stated delivery time, you receive a full refund automatically. We cannot guarantee the outcome of your claim — that depends on the facts and the Tribunal.
Is my data safe?
Your intake data is encrypted in transit and at rest. It is not used to train any AI model. Drafts are stored for 30 days for re-download, then permanently deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
